Here are just a few ideas on how to organise your wedding in Cyprus.

Think what you want for your special day and what is most important to you.  

Here are some options:

• Book everything direct with the wedding co-ordinator/s at the Town Hall, Church or hotel venue and arrange your own flights and accommodation via the internet and recommendations. 
  You can book everything directly ie flowers, wedding cake, photography, videography, transport etc.
  
  OR
  
• Do some initial internet research yourself or via this website, perhaps on wedding venues and/or visit Paphos on  holiday perhaps around 18 months – 2 years beforehand and explore yourself to decide where feels right for you.
  
  OR
  
• Use an independent Wedding Planner here in Paphos to arrange part (can be just the legal arrangements) or all of your wedding.
  
  OR
   
• Book via a tour operator a wedding package that includes organising your wedding ceremony and perhaps your reception.   
  Wedding Extras packages such as flowers, transport, wedding cake and photography are usually arranged after your arrivel in Paphos so you will need to budget for these.
  Extras can always be booked directly with suppliers yourselves many months before your wedding if you prefer to choose everything yourself.

Whether your ideal venue is a Chapel, Church, Hotel, Town Hall or Yacht there are many things to consider before making your final choice. 

Here are just a few questions to ask yourself.

Decide what type of ceremony you see yourselves having

Do you want your ceremony to be private with just you and your guests?  Would you mind strangers watching your ceremony?

How many guests you plan to invite?  More guests will need transport arranging if you are planning two or more locations; you might find it less expensive and more convenient to hold everything in one place.

Do you want a formal reception with a sit down meal or would you prefer a buffet style (Meze)? Do you want this outside or inside? – consider the time of year, as it can be uncomfortable eating outside in very hot weather. 

If you are planning to stay in a Villa you could choose to hold your reception there using outside caterers.

How much can you personalise the venue?  Some venues prefer you to use their recommended suppliers.
